The RoninBox waitlist is for full classes. You join it, and if someone cancels and a spot opens up, you get an email so you can go in and take it. This guide explains how to join the waitlist, how to leave it, and what happens when a spot opens up. If you’re gym staff and want to see the waitlist, see waitlist.

  1. Open Calendar and tap the class. You’ll see the Full label and no Sign up button.

  2. Tap Join waitlist.

  3. The class details update. Your name now appears on the Waitlist card, with the Waitlist label, and the button changes to Leave waitlist.

The waitlist button only appears if the class is full and you could join if there were a spot. If something else stops you, such as an unpaid monthly fee or not having credits, you won’t see it. See booking a class.

Open the class and tap Leave waitlist. You’ll no longer appear on the waitlist and won’t get notifications for that class. You can leave as long as the class isn’t closed.

When a member cancels and the class has a free spot, RoninBox sends an email to everyone on the waitlist. Its subject is “Clase disponible de” followed by the class name, and it says: “Entra en la aplicación del Box y ocupa el hueco antes de que otro lo haga.” (Open the gym’s app and take the spot before someone else does.) It includes the class name, date and time.

What matters:

  • The email notifies you, it doesn’t sign you up. To join the class, you have to open the app and tap Sign up.
  • The notification goes to everyone at once, so the spot goes to whoever signs up first.
  • When you sign up for the class, you’re removed from the waitlist.
  • The email goes to your account’s address. Make sure it’s correct in Profile and account.
  • I didn’t get the email. Check your spam folder and make sure your email address is correct.
  • I got there late and it was full again. It happens: another member was faster. You’re still on the waitlist for the next spot.
