How to send a push notice to your members' phones

  • Who can do it: Gym administrator
  • Where to find it: Push notices
  • Time: 2 minutes

To send a push notice, open Push notices, write a short title and text, choose who it’s for and tap Send notice. The notice arrives instantly as a notification on your members’ phones: use it for a last-minute closure, a schedule change or a new class.

In Send to you choose:

  • All members: all active members of the box (not those who have left or been deleted).
  • Members of a location: members whose location is that one. Members with no assigned location count as belonging to the oldest location. Only shown if the box has more than one location.
  • A class (signed up and waitlist): you pick a day and a class on that day; it reaches those signed up and those on its waitlist.
  • One member: you search for a member by name, username or email.
  1. Open Push notices in the side menu.

  2. Write the Title (up to 60 characters) and the Text (up to 200). This is what shows in the notification.

  3. If you want, add a Link (optional): an app page starting with /, for example /calendar/. Tapping the notice opens that page; without a link, the home page. Addresses of other websites aren’t allowed.

  4. Choose Send to. Below it you’ll see how many members and devices it will reach.

  5. Tap Send notice and confirm.

Below the form, Recent notices sent shows the last 50 notices: when and by whom each was sent, the text, who it was for, how many members it reached and on how many devices it was delivered. Only the administration can see it.

  • A push notice is only the phone notification: fast, but it isn’t saved.
  • An announcement is seen by all members in the app and can be reread.
  • A message is a conversation with a member.
