Your schedule and plans on your website

  • Who can do it: Gym administrator
  • Where to find it: Gym settings ▸ General
  • Time: 5 minutes

With RoninBox you can put your schedule and plans on your website without copying them by hand: you turn on an option, check which plans you want to show, and paste a short code into the page. From then on, your website always shows the same thing you have in RoninBox, and every change you make appears on its own within a few minutes.

Only a gym administrator can turn it on. It works with any website: WordPress, Wix, a custom-built page, or any other where you can paste code.

The code draws two blocks, and you can add both or just one:

  • The weekly schedule. Each class with its day, start and end time, activity, and prefix, if it has one. On a phone, one day is shown at a time, with buttons to switch days, and it opens on today. On a wide screen, all days are shown in columns.
  • The plans. One card for each plan or class pass you’ve checked, from cheapest to most expensive, with its price “per month” or “per pass,” a sentence summarizing what it includes (for example, “8 CrossFit classes per month”), and the description you wrote for the website.

The buttons and notices in the blocks appear in Spanish or Portuguese depending on the language of the page where you paste them. The sentence summarizing each plan appears in your gym’s language.

The published schedule is the standard week: it comes from the schedule builder rules in effect today. That’s why your website does not show:

  • how many spots are left or who’s signed up;
  • which coach teaches each class;
  • holidays, one-off classes, or changes on a specific day;
  • rules that haven’t started yet or have already ended;
  • classes from hidden locations.

Only the plans you check are shown. The others, and deleted ones, never reach your website.

  1. Open Gym settings ▸ General, check Publish schedule and plans on the gym's website, and tap Save.

  2. Open Plans and shop ▸ Subscriptions. On each plan or class pass you want to show, tap the pencil, check Show on the gym's website, and, if you want, write a Website description (up to 500 characters). Save. You can also check it when you create a plan.

  3. Go back to General. Below the form, the Code for your website card now appears. Copy the code it shows, which looks like this, with your gym’s address:

    <script src="https://tubox.roninbox.com/embed/v1.js" defer></script>
    <roninbox-horario></roninbox-horario>
    <roninbox-tarifas></roninbox-tarifas>
  4. Paste the code into your website, on the page and in the spot where you want the schedule and plans to appear. In WordPress, for example, in a Custom HTML block. If you only want one of the two, remove the other one’s line, but always keep the first line.

If you don’t see the code card, the option is turned off: go back to step 1.

By default, the schedule shows classes from all visible locations, with the location name on each class, and each plan card says which location it belongs to.

To show only one location, add sede="..." to a block with the location’s identifier, as the code card itself explains. For example, <roninbox-horario sede="norte"></roninbox-horario>. It will show the classes and plans for that location plus the ones that apply to all locations. This way you can have one page per location.

The identifier is the location name in lowercase, without accents, and with hyphens instead of spaces: “Sede Norte” is sede-norte. To check it, open the schedule link on the card: each location appears with its identifier next to its name. If you change the location name in Locations, the identifier may change and you’ll have to fix it on your website.

  • Changes: if you change a schedule rule, an activity, a location, or a plan, your website shows it within a few minutes. You don’t have to touch your website.
  • Turning it off: if you uncheck Publish schedule and plans on the gym's website, the blocks disappear from your website within a few minutes. They don’t leave any error message: they simply aren’t shown. The same goes for a plan you uncheck.
  • The website shows nothing. Check that the option is turned on and that the code is complete, including the first line. After turning it on, wait a few minutes.
  • The schedule is empty. There are no schedule rules in effect today. Check that they’re active and that their start date has already passed.
  • A plan doesn’t show up. It doesn’t have Show on the gym's website checked, or it belongs to another location and the block has sede.
  • A location shows an error notice. The sede identifier doesn’t match any visible location. Fix it as explained above.
